Meet Joey! He loves swimming, going bowling, and playing sports. This year, Joey along with over 150 kids from around our community, will be splashing, exploring, learning, and laughing his way through the year with programs offered at Tri-Town YMCA. Before learning about our offerings, Joey’s Mom Joanne had nowhere else to turn to.
“I’m a single parent, and I wouldn’t know what to do without Tri-Town! The programming is wonderful, and the staff is so nice. Tri-Town is a godsend; it truly saves a lot of people who need quality, affordable care,” shares Joey’s Mom.
Last year because of generous donors, Joey was able to participate in our Readers are Leaders Summer Camp. Like many of his peers, not only did Joey enjoy cannon-balling into the swimming pool, but he also improved his reading competency by more than 70%! When he returned to school this past fall, Joey felt confident and prepared for the school year.
The Tri-Town YMCA has been operating enriching programs throughout our community since 1966. In that time, we have served tens of thousands of families who are your neighbors, friends, and even perhaps your own family members. With the support of kind friends, we have been able to provide the area’s most vulnerable families with more than a million dollars in scholarships over the years! Like Joanne, the opportunity for her child to participate in the programs that we offer provides a peace of mind for parents and the ability for families to thrive during difficult times.
Please help us continue our good work in providing programs that encourage a lifetime of memories, friendships, and skill building by making a tax-deductible charitable gift to the Tri-Town YMCA. Your donation of any amount will make a difference for the children participating in programs throughout the coming year.
On behalf of the Tri-Town YMCA Board of Directors, staff, and all those we provide enriching opportunities to each day, thank you for your generosity. We warmly wish you and your family a happy holiday season!
