Since 1985, the Tri-Town YMCA has been offering Y’s Kids Programs, a safe before and after school alternative, for children to attend, while their parents are at work or continuing their education.
In 2020, Tri-Town YMCA is responding to local community needs by offering flexible options for families in it’s Remote Enrichment At District 2 (R.E.A.D.) program for children enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. At this time, there are no residency requirements to participate in this program. Priority will be given to School District 2 students, but it is open to students residing in and out of School District 2 Bensenville.
The following details will help you and your family better understand this program as you make the decision that is best for your family. Please note that R.E.A.D. is a school-age program that does follow the standards set forth by DCFS and is considered license-exempt. Our teacher-to-student ratio is 1:10.
