Paul Stika, Tri-Town YMCA Board Member
“I’ve been witness to the benefits Tri-Town YMCA’s programs bring to various communities,” Paul said. “The joy on my daughter’s face each day as she walks in and comes out the Y Kid’s door tells me everything I need to know about the people executing the vision cast by the Y’s Board. I want to help realize and contribute to Tri-Town’s further development and growth.”
Paul is a new board member (2026), Y Dad, a former Marine, and an operations manager at Amperage Electrical Supply, a local electrical distributor. While serving in the Marine Corps, he spent four years as an infantryman and was stationed in California.
From there, Paul was deployed twice to Afghanistan. When he returned, he earned a double major in accounting and finance at Elmhurst College before starting his career within a public accounting firm.
For Paul, who grew up in Villa Park and flowed through the D45 schools that Tri-Town now has as part of its programming, he sees this opportunity as coming full circle to contribute to the organization that benefits those in the community he holds dear. He cherishes the people who give back, the strong sense of bonded togetherness, and shared joy he finds in community events.
