Tina Janopoulos, Tri-Town YMCA Board Member
Tina is passionate about the community and feels the best way to improve the wellbeing and surrounding quality of life is by digging deep and getting involved with creative ideas. Her role as a Tri-Town Board Member is a perfect fit, and one she was honored to accept in 2026.
Back in the early days of the COVID pandemic, Tina helped Tri-Town distribute food to local families. “I wasn’t aware of what the Y had to offer at that time,” Tina said, “and where needed services can be acquired. I’d love to spread the word of what Tri-Town YMCA does.”
Tina has an impressive record of community volunteerism, including coaching volleyball, track and basketball for the Special Olympics. She is also active in the West Suburban Humane Society and York Township Food Pantry. Tina has served as the commissioner for the Village of Villa Park and was also a Designation Imagination Challenge Master for the State of Illinois.
Besides her volunteer activities, Tina has grown her own deep roots within Tri-Town’s service territory. For the past 21 years, she has been a full-time real estate broker for JW Reedy in Lombard and cannot imagine working for any other brokerage. She and her family have happily resided in Villa Park for 25 years.
